Sensor hub compdcm_mpu9150.c error

Hello,

I am trying to run mpu9150 sensor on sensor hub after having successfully run lightsensor.

For the light sensor, I followed the lab guide in Tiva workbook lab 14.

I keep having two errors (#10010 & #10234-D) as shown above in the screenshot!

Sensorhub is mounted on TM4C123G board and I use 6.1v code composer studio

Your advice will help me a lot in building framework for school project!

Hello Will

There is a compilation error in the code. The error happens during the Linker for a missing function.

You would need to check where the function is declared and if it is included in the compilation flow

Hello Will,

When you right click on the project, there is an drop down option called "Rebuild Project". Once the build finishes, you will see a log file, which will show the errors in compile and link of the project, before you load the project into the launchpad.

Hello Amit,

So I followed your instruction and rebuild the code. The screenshot above shown is what i see on the console pane.

I researched about those errors and i found that they are related to linkers. Having said that, I don't know how to fix it.

Any ideas?

All the sensors are working fine and their values are displayed through UART in Putty.

Only the gyro sensors are invoking those errors.

Hello Will,

I haven't seen _FDclass not being found. Also I noticed that the Toolchain shows ti-cgt-arm_15.12.0_LTS and that is something I haven't see. I use 5.2.6 version of the toolchain which is one of the latest tool chain.

1. Check if there is a toolchain update for CCS
2. Check where _FDclass comes from?

Hello Sundararajan,

I found that this error happens because the version of the compiler ( i remember it was something like 15.12.0_LTS) is not compatible with this example file.

I don't understand why my ccs had that compiler as I am really a beginner.

I followed the Amit's advice and I reinstalled the CCS, carefully reading the instruction in ccs workbook, and make sure that the version of compiler is 5.2. And gladly it worked.

It may have been a trial version copy. Do you know if it was installed from a CD/pen drive?

There is no CCS 6.2. The latest version is CCS 6.1.2.0015

Sorry I meant ccs6.1.2

when I reinstall it i installed ccs6.1.1 just because my friend had no problem running that example with ccs6.1.1
