HI all,

I'm using TMS570lc4357 in my project, I tried to write some data to flash, its writing to the flash. I observed flash writing is happening, but data which I have sent is not writing in the flash. PFA

I'm not understanding why some data's are write correctly to the flash and some wrong, in between some garbage data will appear.

Please give suggestion to solve this issue.

Please share the HALCoGen settings for the flash writing.

The TMS570LC4357 has ECC with the flash. You did not write the ECC bits when you programmed the data. Therefore the unprogrammed ECC tries to "correct" the data.

Thank you for your reply, I have few doubts
1.What i need to write ECC bits?
2. How to avoid it?
3. I saw in forum ECC option always need to be enable for tms570lc43. Is that the case How i can write my data without corrupt?

If i disable the ECC option it will through an error.
Please provide the suggestion

See section 7.3 on page 333 of the TRM for a short description of bypassing ECC in bank 7. Use the flash api parameter Fapi_AutoEccGeneration instead of Fapi_DataOnly to program both data and the correct ECC.
