RTI and HET interface

Hi friends,

Currently I am using TMS570LS1224 microcontroller . I want to user timer for generate delay in ms and give notification. I am confuse between RTI and HET , I don't know which is suitable for this application. If anyone knows this please let me know.

While both peripherals can generate interrupts, I recommend using the RTI as it is simpler. The HET is able to do many other functions such as generate PWMs and capture input timings, but is more complex to setup.
