External 5V to EK-TM4C1294XL

I tried to connect external 5V EK-TM4C1294 to 5V & GND pins. JP1 is connected as ICDI.

It worked a lot of time, but in 3 months 2 boards go bad.

One of them can't be programmed, and the second stopped send data to serial.

Can it be a connection between the problems and the power supply?

How should I supply external 5V to EK-TM4C1294?

How have you connected the external 5V supply to the device and what is the current limit kept on the external supply

Hello Amit.

I connected the PS to 5v and GND pins at x8.

The current limit is about 700mA, but it also supply voltage to an another PCB.

Hello Uriel,

You should connect it on JP1-Pin 2. Also please check the in rush current into the first stage.

Maybe should I connect JP1 at Booster Pack?
