SafeTI-HSK-RM48 Schematic,layout and documentation

Hi,

I just ordered the SafeTI-HSK-RM48 kit which we should receive in few days. But in the meantime, I need to design an adapter board that fits on the edge connector of the SafeTI-HSK-RM48.

It seems that the documentation is not available on SafeTI-HSK-RM48 web page. Is there a place were I can download the Design files (Schematic and layout in Native or PDF format ) ?

Martin,

That connector is basically empty - it can't drive a motor kit for example.

Originally the intention was for it to do so but plans changed and the connector was depopulated - no signals really go to it.

I'm planning to add functionalities to the SAFETI-HSK-RM48. I hope that there is another connector that I can use.

Where can I find the schematic and layout of the board (in native and PDF) ?

Martin,

There's supposed to be a page on the Hitex website w. the download package and this includes the schematic.
That page is down but I checked and TI also has the rights to distribute this information so I'll post it here for now & we'll work to get that page back up.
Probably a website maintenance goof or something.

These are just the PDF though - the Altium source files I don't think are included on the DVD normally.. if you really need those let me know - it will take some work to get them and probably best to send them to your via Box. Please make sure though that you can branch off this rather than the CNCD first. The CNCD sources should be readily available in the tool folder and/or wiki.

Hi Anthony,

Thanks for posting the Schematic, this will really help.

If possible, we will appreciate to have the source file in Altium format. This will provide us a really good starting point for the schematic (symbols and footprints).

Hi Martin,

If you just want schematic symbols and footprints - http://webench.ti.com/cad/ has almost every TI product.

You enter a the product name and download a cad-software independent (.BXL) file.

You can use the ultralibrarian program on that same page to output yourself
a schematic symbol and footprint for whatever major cad package you need and
if you are using an obscure one it'll output text files that you can probably easily customize & import.
