TM4C1294XL Connected LaunchPad DAC

This is a typo in the data sheet, which was highlighted sometime in Jan-Feb of this year by another customer. There is no on-chip DAC for TM4C12x devices

Clients have pushed for a cb1 protest!

Inclusion of a claimed DAC is to "typo" as tsunami is to breeze!    That twain don't meet.

Is not typo a simple misspelling, or inversion of few letters?  

Here we have an invalid and/or overstated claim - such cannot reasonably "hide" under typo - can it?

No one expects perfection - yet does denying reality - and refusing to admit mistakes - best build client faith & trust?    Should not faith/trust be a high goal?

And it is not claimed in the feature list nor in the product brief of the device and peripherals.

Yet poster read it, "word for word" did he not.   He wrote, "In the datasheet page 1063 mentions a 12-bit DAC!"

Sorry - truth must prevail - that is NOT a, "typo!"   DAC AND 12-bits - hardly a typo - another "defense/excuse" must be offered...

12 bit DAC is a typo if in the ADC chapter of the datasheet ADC got written as DAC

Under those circumstances I agree - although the (only) presence (in the entire manual) of "DAC" should have triggered (some) alarm bells.

I agree. Some sort of check should have been placed in the document generation flow of "not DAC".
