Is there a user's guide for launchxl2-rm46. I'd also like to see the schematics! But, I'm rally not eager to read the >1000pages micro controller's datasheet right now!

There is no User's Guide for the launch pad. There is a Quick Start, and the sample projects you saw on the Wiki. For information on the part you must consult the device datasheet or technical reference manual.
