Hi,


I am working on SCI module OF launchxl2-rm46 and use the code and instructions described in this link ,but not able to see any data being received in my terminal. Can anyone help me out with this.

    Hi Shruthi,
    Have you configured the COM port of your PC the same setting as the microcontroller, i.e. baudrate, data length, parity, number of stop bits?

    Please also use the scope to monitor RX pin? If you are not seeing anything when you press a keystroke then it is the PC side that is not sending the data to the micrcontroller.

    Pretty certain that the SCI used on the HDK for USB<>Serial and the SCI that is used on the RM46 launchpad is not the same.
    The video was made for the HDK I think.

    Try using the other SCI port instead of the one listed in the video.

    The last time I used the SCI on the RM46 launchpad it was the sci corresponding to "scilinREG" that worked.

    I think this is probably SCI2 but check.
