Tiva TM4C123 Graphics Library

Hello,

Can the TivaWare Graphics Library be used with the LCD display in the Educational MKII Boosterpack? If so, where can I find some example code to get started?

I am using the Tiva TM4C123GXL launchpad.

Hello Javier,

The TM4C123 Graphics Library drivers are SSI (SPI) based drivers and the LCD on the Educational MKII Booster pack is also SPI based. As I see in various searches, the Kentec QVGA LCD Boosterpack (www.ti.com/.../BOOSTXL-K350QVG-S1) uses the same interface as the LCD on the Educational MKII Boosterpack so I believe that the TM4C123 graphics library should be able to be configured to be used, although I haven't explicitly attempted it.

Hello Chuck,

They have the same interface indeed. I found a possible solution by modifying the "cfal96x64x16.h" library that is included in the TIVAWARE. I hope it could work fine.
