I was wondering if any of the expert is having knowledge regarding ISO26262 for automotive development.
I want to learn it from the prospect of Embedded programmer.
I will be glad if anyone cn provide me good links to learn from scratch.

I want to know, basically what things should be known to a embedded programmer like how a code is checked whether it satisfy ISO26262 standard and guidelines.

Hi Ankush,

Do you have a copy of the ISO26262 standard? That is what I would say would be your starting place.
It's pretty expensive but then most of the standards are. I don't know of any way around this - sorry.

I just want to know about the basics.

Ankush,

I don't think there is a free source... Every international standard seems to cost hundreds if not thousands of dollars.

You might just need to google for whatever trainings or presentations you can find and try to deduce information from those but to get the actual standard is going to cost a lot...
