Hello Everyone,

I have generated a Pwm Signal of frequency 20khz with different duty cycle uisng PwmSetduty instruction in CCS. I have set my Loop time as 30ns, Hr = 0, Lr = 2 Vclk2 = 110Mhz(In HalCoGen). With these Specification the program Overflow flag is set. If i increase the Loop time to 200ns. The program Overflow flag is Zero. How can I avoid this program Overflow and at the same get pwm Signal with higher Resolution.

To get a higher resolution on the PWM than the loop resolution you need to use the HR (high resolution) structure. HALCoGen only supports simple HET programming. For this you should use the HET IDE.

Hello Bob,

Thank you. I tried HET IDE and I was able to get higher resolution and got my desired output.

I have few questions, I wanted to generate PWM using NHET2 . Should I generate pwm in HET pin and capture it using GIO ? If so why do we have to do like that?
