As a fellow engineer I would interpret your first post as asking directly for the code.

As far as I guidance

1. Refer to the device data sheet for CC4000 and find out what interfaces and interface voltage is required to connect the EVM and LaunchPad

2. Is there requirement for Power and any additional IO for control between two the boards

TivaWare has example called uart_echo, which shows how to perform UART configuration and send-receive data over UART.

It would appear that this course does not succeed at all in developing the "Investigative Skills" of its students.

Such skills prove invaluable - both for students and especially later - as real world challenges land, repeatedly! Might it be that, "DRM and only DRM" coursework leaves students so stressed & exhausted that no time/strength remains for the (most) basic of tech. investigations?

(UART must appear thousands of times - right here - proves extremely hard to "miss.")
