When you mention the schematic and layout, did you check the bottom side of the board?

I don't have a board, only the Eagle files.

I have top and bottom turned on.

Do you see any connections?

I checked the files and the GND and 3.3V connection are visible. I do see the escape via routes connecting them to the planes.

Hi Amit,

Download to the Eagle ULP folder the file "zoom-unrouted.ulp" from CadSoft. http://www.cadsoftusa.com/downloads/ulps

Then from the board view use File->Run ULP.

It will zoom to the noted airwire. You will see it between the USR_SW2 and TP14 labels.

That is a via where the trace is being fanned out to a bottom layer trace.

That's still an airwire that should be cleaned up. IME Eagle is particularly vulnerable to producing theses because of it's grid rule (I think). Still shouldn't be left around though.

This would take time and at this point (very much debatable) mgmt may not want to make any changes to the boards under production as it is not known to be causing an issue (unless forum reports with certainty)

It's more of a documentation issue than a board issue. It wouldn't actually change the functionality.

However, having any board escape layout with airwires is sloppy. Mind you, it is possible that the airwire was inadvertently added by the user. It's worth verifying if it is present in the original.

The user has used the layout files to verify the same. So I believe it would be there in the original data base

The airwire is identified as PJ1. It is in association with upper, lower and via of the same name. I believe it to be a quirk of Eagle not affecting the production run.
