Is the Physical debugger hardware a XDS110 or XDS100?

Where do i check that? Is it in the device manager? If it is, then i don't think i have it.

Assuming you are using a launchpad, the type of launchpad determines which type of Debug Probe you should select.

Are you using a launchpad, and it so which one?

Yeah, I'm using the tm4c123g tiva launchpad.

In which case you need to select the "Stellaris In-Circuit Interface" as the connection, rather than "Texas Instruments XDS110 USB Debug Probe".

And how did you reach the conclusion that there was an XDS100 on the board when the documentation (user guide) states that it has a Stellaris ICDI
