  • Hello Wei,

It sounds like you have, most likely, damaged the ICDI interface of the board or, perhaps, even some other part of it. When power the board do you see an of the LEDs on? Do you see any activity on the primary microcontroller? (May need to monitor some output pins that you were using with the image that is presently flashed into the device.)
  • I can see the LED on,which shows the power, anyother LEDs are not on.But if the ICDI interface  is damaged, what should I do to fix it?If I change the device what about the firmware in the TM4C123?I don't have it

  • Hello Wei,

It is difficult for me to tell what might be defective. You stated the TM4C123 heated significantly so it could also be the TM4C123 that is damaged or some other component on the board. If it is possible to obtain/borrow another TM4C123 Launchpad and try to connect with it.  I would recommend this just to make sure there is no issue with your setup and to confirm if the issue is specific to the launchpad you are seeing trouble with.

If you cannot find another TM4C123 to borrow, I would recommend to buy a new one since the cost of replacing various components would add up and, with the potential of other issues replacing components, it is probably best not to attempt repair without a backup to use in the meantime.

  • Hello Wei

Does the Board show up in the device manager of the PC as Stellaris ICDI?

    Regards
    Amit
  • hi,I can find the  Stellaris ICDI in the device manager of the PC,but if the Stellaris ICDI is damaged why it can show up in PC,I cannot understand, maybe anyother part of the device is damaged?

  • I can use annother Launchpad to connect the TM4C1294 ,but my TM4C123 cannot connect another.I think the TM4C123 may be damaged.Could I change another TM4C123 to my Launch pad where can I find the firmware of the ICDI interface. Is it in the offical web?Or find it by other ways?
