TMS570 problem with EMAC configuration with EMAC specified PIN

Hello,

We use EMAC specified PINs（T9、G3、B11、N19...）communicating with external PHY on customed board. The project base on http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/HALCoGen_Ethernet_Driver_and_lwIP_Integration_Demonstration .I think the only difference with tms570 HDK is PINMUX configuration, but i cannot run the project correctly .My additional configuration steps show below.(ccsv6.1 halgogen4.05)

1. disable MII here

.2. enable those pins IN "input pin muxing"

My question is any modules need to configure?

There are instructions here for the TMS570LC4357 / RM57L843 Launchpads.

We also used the dedicated pins on the LaunchPad so these instructions should help you with your own board.

BTW those instructions are for MII mode. Hopefully you are using MII. If not you'll need to make some adjustments.

Hi,

Anthony Seely. Many thanks for your quick help! Now the problem is solved!

Although check the MII_TX_CLK and MII_RX_CLK signals on ball T4 and U7 in "Pin muxing" will cause "Confliction on ball T4 and U7 " prompted by HALCOGEN 4.05, 
we still need to do that so.

Hi Jinus,

Thanks for reporting this. I tried to reproduce the problem in HalCoGen 4.05.02 and if i just set T4 MII_RCLK there is no conflict listed for me.
Maybe you can send us the .dil and .hcg files from your project? Or if you have a certain sequence of checking the boxes to make the conflict appear that you can tell us to try?

Hi Anthony Seely, Thanks for your reply. Here is my HCG project.1205.HCG.rar

Now i got another problem. TMS570 is a big endian soc, why the " __LITTLE_ENDIAN__" was defined in HAL_sys_common.h created by HCGCOGEN_4_05_02 . What is the problem? Thanks!

Hi Anthony,

I have the exact same problem. I have uninstalled Halcogen EMAC LWIP , removed the directory and re-installed and I still have the same issue. I have no clue what is wrong with it. I have Halcogen 4.06.00
