The SSI module cannot be directly interfaced to an SD card. The legacy SPI mode can be used to interface with SPI mode of SD cards.

There is another method to use 2 SSI controllers to interface with the 4 bit sd card (note that besides the 4 bit of data there is a CMD line also required)

i was thinking that it is the same interface as in s6e2c2ah supporting sd card.
so i will use single ssi controller.

I do not have access to s6e2c2ah specifications, but the SSI on TM4C12x devices is not SD card interface

Informative: SD Cards have SPI interface for legacy mode. That is what a lot of non-SD card MCU's use.
