TM4C123G Power Cycle Issue

Basically I received a used board and whenever I try to burn a sample code using keil uvision it says "please power cycle the board and try again" and "target dll not found" .

Afterthis message the Keil IDE crashes.

O am completely new to this and don't know what to do.

When you plug the board does the ICDI port show up in the device manager?

Keil has a quite responsive and helpful forum there, I suggest to post your question also there. Not so much uVision user here ...

My bet would be that without the full information, even Keil forum will ask the poster to move to the TM4C forum.

Perhaps. But that missing target.dll, and a crash of the IDE, are IMHO a Keil-specific issue, and I bet they could explain that a lot better.

Poster notes that (basically) he's received a, "Used" board.

Not so (basic) - and unstated - is poster's report of the board's past "success/failure" while in use by original user(s)...

As to the (other) IDE - again understated - is poster's familiarity and/or past success w/that IDE - both useful... (noted is his newness - unclear if that targets MCU, IDE or both)

Unguided posters - most always - fail to provide adequate clues & detail. Such is (very) well known - and allowed to continue...

The board is enumerated fine. I would check the Keil IDE to see if a reinstall of the package will help

The OS and version of the ICDI driver might be helpful as well. Keil uVision is normally not that unstable - I suspect a driver issue.
