That is strange. The new drivers are supposed to work for Win7-Win10 (and we have reports of it working well). When you try to update the drivers (I assume you are using a Win10 machine), there must be some other message also along with the "Windows was unable to install your In-Circuit Debug Interface". Also if you double click the ICDI, there must be an error code as well which would give more information.

Could it be an issue on the PC itself. Can you remove all existing drivers registered as ICDI using usb device management tools
