what is R2V

Hello TI,

I was going through the HET section of the TMS470M Series Technical Reference Manual(Rev. C)

On pg. 595, under section "12.3.1.3 CPU Access to Timer-RAM" there is a refrence to 'R2V'. I am unable to track what is R2V and need your support for the same.

The Manual reads:-

Hi Sanjeev,
The R2V is a bridge module in the device that converts CPU's bus interface (AHB) to the HET's native bus interface (VBUS).

So, it should be A2V (AHB to VBUSP Bridge)
If i am correct!

Hi Sanjeev,
Yes, A2V would have been a better name to use in the HET userguide. What might have happened is that at one time the bridge module name was called R2V.
