Hello TI team,

we use the TMS570LS1114 in our design. Our customer wants a release for the used crystal. Is there a list of recommended crystals for this controller?

Actually we use this type "CX3225CA16000H0HSSCC" manufactured by AVX with 12pF load caps.

    Hi Oliver,

     I have forwarded you post to our SME. I don't think we have a list of recommended crystals. The key is that crystal will meet the required tolerance specified in the datasheet. In addition, the datasheet has the below note about crystal.

    'TI strongly encourages each customer to submit samples of the device to the resonator/crystal vendors for validation. The vendors are equipped to determine what load capacitors will best tune their resonator/crystal to the microcontroller device for optimum start-up and operation over temperature/voltage extremes.'
