Hello Team,

I have a customer who is referring to the datasheet of device TMS570LC4357 page 41 section 4.2.1.18. Here for nERROR under description it states ESM error (And of Error 1 and Error 2). The customer is asking what does Error 1 and Error 2 refer to. There is no specific reference to it. What is being anded.

Good point, that is not stated very clearly. It is trying to say that the output pin nERROR is the logical AND of the ERROR signals from CPU1 and CPU2. If either of the lock step CPUs generates an error, the nERROR signal will go low.
