You would need to post the thread in MSP forum. The MSP team has taken the reference code of the TM4C application note to do development of the MSP devices as 1-wire slave. They should be able to help you better.

Ok, I will post the thread in the MSP forum, but can you help me understand Tiva's 1-wire API.  Do the APIs, such as OneWireTransaction and OneWireDataGet, issue a reset signal automatically, or we have to use OneWireBusReset to start a write/read?  Does OneWireTransaction(ONEWIRE0_BASE, (ONEWIRE_OP_RESET | ONEWIRE_OP_WRITE), ulData, ulBitCount) do the trick, too?  Thank you

It should do the trick as well since the API accepts it as a valid argument.
