ESM interrupt for ESM Group1 Channel 11

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS570LS0332

Hi,

I am using TMS570LS0332 in my design. I configured ESM low level interrupt and enabled ESM Group1-Channel 11 (Clock Monitoring Int). I would like to know is there way i can test the interrupt? (Whether the interrupt is triggering or not). I tried to simulate the interrupt by setting the LPO HF Freq to 2.952 MHz. (Oscillator Freq = 16 MHz). But i do not see any interrupt.

Thanks & Best regards,

  • The simplest way to check the clock monitor is to remove the crystal (if socketed) or to short out the crystal terminals. If the PLL is enabled, this will also result in a PLL slip. If the reset-on-slip (ROS) bit of PLLCTL1 register is set, you will also generate a reset.
