I have'nt find the good path to ask for an improvement for halcogen, so i post my comment here....
It should be a good idea to have text boxes near each entry in halcogen ( pin config, SPI config, PLL speed...) in order to allow the user to comments its choice.
For example for each pin, we can fill the name of the signal, or why it is an input or output...
There are just commentary stored in halcogen config file... They are not used by halcogen.
