What does "pet" mean ?

"pet" reference to Chapter 7.68 of the Safety Manual for TSM570LS31x and TMS570LS21x Hercules ARM®-Based Safety Critical Microcontrollers .

Arrly,
I think the "pet" means the watchdog key. You need to write in sequence of two unique keys to the RTIDWDKEY register to prevent the watchdog from getting timeout.
