Hi,

Can anyone confirm that the EMAC DMA component access is in user mode? I can see for RM4x( from the thread below), it is yes, what about for RM5x? Can you show me the evidence in the TRM? I can see that the normal DMA access is in user mode in the TRM.

The RM57L Technical Reference Manual SPNU562 has the same statement on page 679 concerning the general purpose DMA. I will confirm that is true for the EMAC DMA back in the office on Monday and submit a request to have this added to the documentation.

The DMA in the EMAC also operates in USER mode.
