GrLIB Font Assistance

Hello,

I am presently using TivaWARE GrLIB with the "g_sFontCmss20b" font. I recently added a ListBox widget, and would like to consider a fixed-width font so that the ListBox entries align nicely. Turning to the documentation file, "SW-TM4C-GRL-UG-2.1.3.156.pdf", chapter 16, I was surprised to find that the example page for each of the 153 fonts was blank (with the exception of the font name). The example does not render within the documentation, nor is there any written description of its characteristics. From the font name, I can surmise its size, but I do not know what the rest of the name hints at.

Is there and older copy of the font documentation you can provide (it used to render in the 2011 time-frame)? How about a list with characteristics? Thank you for any help you can provide!

Hello Dave,

Thanks for bringing this up! Looks like there is some issue with this documentation generation. If the document was printed correctly, for each font name a string would be printed to show how the font would look like.

I will see if we can fix this for the next release.

In the mean time, I found a older version on which the Chapter 16 is complete.

Let the record note that a (proper) "source" (likely a "first" source) would "maintain" (i.e. stockpile) critical earlier versions.
