About the access specification of the register

I am reading "TMS570LS31x/21x 16/32-Bit RISC Flash Microcontroller Technical Reference Manual (SPNU499B)".

I want you to inform me about the access specification of the register.

The following register table, there is a description of the WP. However, "LEGEND" in, there is no description of the WP.
Which is right?

FIQ/IRQ Program Control Register 1
FIQ/IRQ Program Control Register 2
Pending Interrupt Read Location Register 0
Pending Interrupt Read Location Register 1
Pending Interrupt Read Location Register 2
Interrupt Enable Set Register 0
Interrupt Enable Set Register 1
Interrupt Enable Set Register 2
Interrupt Enable Clear Register 0
Interrupt Enable Clear Register 1
Interrupt Enable Clear Register 2
Wake-up Enable Set Register 0
Wake-up Enable Set Register 1
Wake-up Enable Set Register 2
Wake-up Enable Clear Register 0
Wake-up Enable Clear Register 1
Wake-up Enable Clear Register 2

  • Hi Haggy,
Thanks for the feedback. The LEGION needs to be updated in the TRM to show like below. I will file a ticket to update the TRM.

LEGEND: R/W = Read/Write; R = Read only; WP = Write in privilege mode only; -n = value after reset
  • Hi  Charles.

    I have an additional question.

The following registers also, the contents of the register table and LEGEND does not match.
    Either that correct?

    ・IF3 Data B Register

    ・SCI Global Control Register 1

  • Hi Haggy,
Thanks for the feedback again. The LEGION needs to be updated for IF3 Data B Register. For SCI Global Control Register 1 it does not need to be accessed in privileged mode. I think the LEGION (LEGEND: R/W = Read/Write; R = Read only; WL = Write in LIN mode only; WC = Write in SCI-compatible mode only; -n = value after reset) is correct.
