I am reading "TMS570LS31x/21x 16/32-Bit RISC Flash Microcontroller Technical Reference Manual (SPNU499B)".

SCI Global Control Register 0(SCIGCR0) in "Table 26-9. SCI/LIN Control Registers" and,

SCI Global Control Register 0(SCIGCR0) in "Table 27-3. SCI Control Registers Summary" are same register name.

Above two registers are same registers ?

Why same name?

There are two UART modules on the TMS570LS31x/21x devices. One is UART plus LIN (SCI/LIN), the other is UART alone (SCI). Each module has an SCIGCR0 register, but they are at different addresses. The SCI/LIN SCIGCR0 register is at 0xFFF7E400. The SCI SCIGCR0 register is at 0xFFF7E500. In each module the register does the same thing, controls the modules reset state.
