TM4C129 pin configuration for boundary scan

Hi,

my customer wants to perform a boundary scan with TM4C129, but they struggle with pin configuration. For example, they have connected a flash memory to PB[3:2], but the connected parts cannot be tested. This is also the case for PA[4] and PA[5].

Is it possible to define special function pins as GPIOs within the boundary scan (via registers)?

The datasheet says these pins are not GPIOs by default. Changing them to GPIOs in firmware before performing boundary scan seems unstable and depends on software.
