How to read the current local time in the TM4C Microcontroller

Is the TM4C129x always connected to a network via wired or wireless connection?

Robert - is it not time that lily's firm bought you a nice dinner? (or two?)

Firm or school appears negligent in their preparation - and sending her here - repeatedly - minus key/critical info...

I too am "time challenged" but I burden (others) - not the forum - w/such basic (firm dictated) issues.

Yes, it is connected to the zigbee network, not to ethernet/wifi so I can't read the time from web etc.

Without any network connectivity which would allow NTP services for real time, I can't possibly think of a time-of-day reliable answer,

Next questions then, budget and accuracy?

I was expecting to read the current time inside the TI. But looks like that is not possible, at least no straight forward way. I can read the time from a PC or Raspberry Pi which is wirelessly connected to the TI.

I can think of several Amit, budget could be an issue.

I thought you said you weren't wirelessly connected?

Although that does raise the question of where do they get their time.

There does appear to be a RTC timer mode on the chip but I don't know anything about it. However you do need a way of setting and updating the time (RTCs driven by a 32767 crystal are not particularly accurate)

You may want to devour that quickly... ... ... before the "time" changes.

Is it not reasonable - that after 10-20 forum questions asked - and resolved - that posters (graduate) from their (self-described) "hack" status?

You may want to extend your "order" to a double.   (and still eat FAST!)   (before the (unrecorded) time changes...)
