Hello,

Both the TRM (section 14.5 and table 14-1) and the datasheet (note on Figure 6-6) seem to be indicating that PLLCLK cannot exceed the datasheet HCLK (150MHz). 

Is this correct? It means we cannot clock the CPU faster than 150MHz?? 

What am I missing?

    Hi Mathieu,
    No, on the TMS570LC4357 the maximum frequency out of the PLL is GCLK, not HCLK (300MHz). This is probably a carry-over from the documents being sourced from the Hercules R4 devices. I will submit corrections to both documents.
