TivaWare use of "inline"

Hello TI,

Within the "epi.h" file in driverlib, the "inline" keyword is used in the Keil-qualified (rvmdk) section..  I believe this should be "__inline" to compile successfully with the C90 standard.  A quick search indicates that this is the only .c or .h file in driverlib that is affected.  Thank you!

Regards,

Dave

  • Though rare (exceedingly so) the arrival of, "Source Two" usually produces value for our forum group.
Officialdom - although (bit) slow on the draw - should confirm your finding & express gratitude.

It is our understanding that "last year's record snowfalls" have yet to commence in your NorthEast, Trumpian abode...

  • Hello TI,

Although it's not Groundhog Day, I have a case of Deja vu nonetheless: The new TivaWare_C_Series-2.1-4.178 still has not addressed this error.  The file "epi.h" will not compile (Keil) as delivered.

Interesting that this continues to sneak through TI's exhaustive pre-release testing! ;-).  This item aside, a genuine "thank you" for the best support library in the industry!

    Sincerely,

    Dave
