But with a proper reward (from your company) in prospect, you can still ask around if some volunteer is willing to take the bait ...

There are somethings we do. As an example for the lwIP we released the LLDP stack but it is a reciprocation from us for lwIP. Vendor specific implementations is something we try to stay clear of, unless it is a mandated requirement for every end equipment.

Of course is there is an avenue for volunteers to develop and share (and some have done the same in the past). We do try to highlight their achievements.

Sorry - my post was more of an ironic nature.
For one thing, how can one fail to notice the difference between a public forum, and a (paid-for) support service ?
Second, how can one (as a company) expect to get the application software for one's product free of charge ? What is the "added value" then ?
And "As Soon As Possible" ?
Some posts (like this) make my crest rising ...

The TIDM-TM4C129POEAUDIO does not have link layer PSE communication software. However you can try the LLDP software package released at the following link to integrate Layer-2 communication
