Interface TMS570 avec PCI Express

Hello,

As part of a new development, we are using the Texas Instruments 16/32-bit microcontroller with the reference TMS5703137DZWTQQ1 with a PCI Express interface. We want to know which component we can use between this micro and the PCIe interface. Can you help us?

    Hi Bernard,

    There really isn't a natural way to interface a TMS570 with PCIe. You're either going to need to find a device like an FPGA that can implement some sort of interface to the TMS570 EMIF, or use a PCIe -> Ethernet -> TMS570 connection. We don't have any solution that we can point you to. This use case wasn't really anticipated.

    There are some Sitara devices from TI with a native PCIe interface, for example www.ti.com/.../overview.page This may be a much better way to go if you need PCIe.
