our customer is using TM4c1294 in their project, and they want do some testing in Ethernet, the requirement is below, they want to know how they can generate these kind of pattern in TM4c1294, thanks in advance.
1. For 10M BASE PHY testing, the DUT should transmit random packets, link pulse, and all ones data pattern, the figure shows a typical waveform from the DUT:
2. For 100M BASE PHY testing, the DUT should transmit scrambled idles. Duty cycle distortion can also be carried out with 010101 pattern, the figure shows a typical waveform from the DUT:
