SPI Interface using TM4c123 launchpad

Hello, 

To understand the spi interface I'm using two TM4C123 launchpads. One is configured as master and other as slave. 

The connections are done as follows:

Launchpad1(master) to Launchpad2(slave)

PA2(clock) to PA2

PA3(FSS) to PA3

PA4(MISO) to PA5

PA5(MOSI) to PA4

The clock for master is set to: 16Mhz and bit rate is 4000000 (FSSI>=2*bit rate)

The clock for slave is set to: 66.67Mhz and bit rate is 4000000 (FSSI>=12*bit rate)

Tivaware version is 2.1.3 and CCS version is 6.2

Everytime when the debugger goes to the spi interrupt, the receive buffer always shows zero. 

Can someone please tell me what changes should be done for proper working of spi?
