Team, is there a way to interface the TMS570LC4357 with three quadrature encoders? I see there are only two eQEP modules but I was hoping maybe one of the other timing modules would be able to count the quadrature inputs as well.

Any app notes / code references would be helpful

Team, one quick follow-up: for this implementation can any pins used by the NHET implement this method (up to 32 GPIOs per HET)? I assume that since this device has 2xNHET then at least two of these ports can be implemented, given pin-muxing allows it?

Yes, any HET pins can be used. Yes either/both NHETs can be used.
