What evaluation board to use

Hello,

I'm developing a software on the TM4C123G LaunchPad, it has a TM4C123GH6PM Microcontroller.

I was just informed from from the board design engineers that we will be using the TM4C123GH6PZ Microcontroller in the final product.

I would like to keep the development environment as close as I can to the final product.

Is there an evaluation board for the TM4C123GH6PZ I can use? I cant find one.

Hello Nadav

No, there is not an evaluation board for TM4C123GH6PZ. I believe you can either use the larger DK-TM4C123G which has a 144 pin device or wait for the final board of yours for development.

Okay thank you.

I prefer developing on an evaluation board and not on the final board for debugging.

I'll take a look at the DK-TM4C123G.

I found an old LM4F232H5QD Evaluation board,
Can it be used without too many changes when I go to the final board?

Hello Nadav

There are changes between the LM4F and TM4C123 device. But for most purposes it can be reused.
