The post title says "Problem in ADC". But the message does not mention a problem... And the only question is it is quite easily answered from the datasheet... The forum will have a hard time to help...

You could copy the relevant part from the datasheet, and present it here on a silver platter ... ;-)

I actually considered setting up the bench with a couple of voltmeters, a scope, a logic analyzer, record a full stress test on video and post on youtube... But then I suddenly noticed I had to run to the pet shop, as we ran out of food for the turtles... sorry.

We're told - (some) turtles are Ninjas - perhaps feeding time should rise in priority...

Far to the rear of (most) vendor MCU data manuals appear device specs - often grouped by MCU peripheral - which provide the sought detail...

And...your "informant" ... has how many legs? Is it not true that (some) pizza ovens are, "voltage intolerant?" (or - was that glucose?)

Hello Forum User,

The IO's are 5V tolerant. But what you need to consider is that the maximum reference input is 3.3V for the ADC. So what would it be of use when the ADC saturates if the input goes above the reference.

The right approach would be to scale the analog signal to the range of the Vref of the ADC.
