Hello.
I'm using "TMS570LS3137 [http://www.ti.com/product/TMS570LS3137]" and reading "Safety Manual(SPNU511D) ".
I carry out "MSP1A:Boot Time Software Test of Function Using I/O Loopback" and "SPI1A:Boot Time Software Test of Function Using I/O Loopback".
In this test, insert "desync error", "BITERR", "parity errors", "timeout error", "data length error" using the I/O - Loopback Test Control Register (IOLPBKTSTCR).
By this operation, can failure injection test of the following safety mechanism also be realized?
- MSP2:Parity in Message and SPI2:Parity in Message
- MSP12:Bit Error Detection and SPI8:Bit Error Detection
- MSP13:Slave Desync Detection and SPI9:Slave Desync Detection
- MSP14:Slave Timeout Detection and SPI10:Slave Timeout Detection
- MSP15:Data Length Error Detection and SPI11:Data Length Error Detection
Best Regards
