When we want to get the system level certification using TMS 570 series microcontroller, mention the precautionary steps or design guidelines to be taking care?

    TMS570 devices have been designed to the IEC 61508 1st edition standard as well as working drafts of the recently published 2nd edition standard.  IEC 61508 is a general, industry independent safety standard which can be applied to many applications.  TI can provide a safety manual, safety metric reports, and other safety deliverables for the TMS570 product under NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement).  These documents provide recommendations and conditions of use for the TMS570 MCU in IEC 61508 safety system implementation.  Please contact your local TI sales representative for more information on executing an NDA so that detailed safety information may be shared.
