EK-TM4C123GXL: Just bought a brand new Tiva C Launchpad and my computer will not recognize it

If you open your device manager, do you see the Stellaris debug interface and virtual serial port? If not, do you see something else like a generic serial port that appears when you plug in the EK-TM4C123GXL?

No, nothing changes in the device manager when i plug the board in. I have used other boards the same model before on this same computer and the debug interface has always popped up but not when I plug in my new board.

Sorry for the delay in response. If a older board worked on that PC USB port with that USB cable; that eliminates the PC USB port, the USB cable and the driver. If that is the case I see no alternative but to return the unit.

No problem. I also thought it might be a board issue but was just checking in case I was missing something. Thanks for the help. I will contact support and see if I can return it.
