TMS570LS3137: DCC error report to ESM

Hello everyone.

I'm implement to fault injection test to "CLK3 : Dual Clock Comparator".

Wrote to invalid value at Counter0 and Counter1, error indicated with DCC1 Status Register.
But,An ESM error Group1 Channel30 indicating a DCC 1 error is not set.

Do you know why?

Is there a setting to notify ESM ? I want some advice.

- DCC1 Register when fault injection

- ESM Register when fault injection

Hello Arriy,

How are you executing the test? Are you just writing to the counter registers? Are you not actually measuring clock sources? Below is what the TRM states about the DCC and ESM error generation.

Thank you for your reply.

I did not call "dccInit ();"
When this function was executed, an error was notified to ESM.
I am sorry to have caused trouble.
