TMS570LS0432: TMS570LS0432 and TMS570LS1227 Sleep Current

Part Number: TMS570LS0432
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS570LS1227

Hi Team –

I’m trying to track down the sleep current for the TMS570LS0432 and TMS570LS1227… can you please comment? I only saw information for the operating mode in the DS.

Thanks!

Dan

  • Hello Dan,

The Hercules MCUs are high-performance MCUs and are not really designed for applications that require low-power-consumption modes. These modes are still available, but the performance in these modes is not specified since the expected leakage current number is quite high. The leakage currents can vary quite significantly due to the process, voltage and temperature characteristics so, if the customer is using the device within a relatively low temperature range, and has tight control on the voltage, they may see some sleep and doze currents in the low mA range but may also see higher than expected current due to process variations in the silicon.
