Hi,

I am working on a code which was built with the CCS v.5.5 and the customized linker_file is used. currently I am using is CCS v.6.0.1 and same linker_file I am using here.

For which warnings are generating as below

" warning #10068-D: no matching section"

I have cross verified to check syntax errors for the linker_file. there are no syntax errors

can I get some suggestion to solve this issue,

Shankar,

Compiler is generating a section from your source that is not defined in your linker file.
Take a look at the linker "map" file to find all "named" sections (allocated) and find the missing one in the linker file.

Hi Joe,

Thanks for your reply, as per your suggestion I made changes in linker file, all the warnings are eliminated and the problem is solved in CCS,

Now I am using the same linker file in a testing tool RTRT (Rational Test Real Time) where I gave the same compiler path of CCS to compile the code.

But in RTRT the same warnings are generating again

Please help!!!

Hello Shankar,

This is, most likely, a path related issue. Have you tried reaching out to the RTRT support for their guidance since it is related to their tool?
