CCS/DK-TM4C129X: TM4C129X programming using the Energia - IDE, instead of CCS7

Recently received the IoT Enabled ARM® Cortex®-M4F MCU TM4C129X Connected Development Kit from Texas instruments. Just wanted to shortly consults with you guys, regarding the programming of core.

It might happen to be that someone tried to program it through Energia?.Of course there is support in Energia for Tiva -Cores, but just this Development Kit which could be programmied or not?. Any info or ideas would be highly appreciated.

Hi David,

DK-TM4C129X is not supported by the latest Energia version.

Hi Kel, thanks for response.

do you think there is a chance to run with older releases? like Energia 17, or 16?
Before going into the CCS, I would like to tinker it with Enegia.

Hi David,

No, I have used the older releases and there were no support for DK-TM4C129X. Energia supports EK-TM4C123GXL and EK-TM4C129X Launchpad.

Anyway, I suggest you use CCS for DK-TM4C129X. CCS has lots of advantages compared to Energia.
