Guys,

In my project I need put 3 or more DSP to communicate with each other in a peer-to-peer communication.

I see that hercules MCU development kit has ethernet communication. How can I implement a wifi or Bluetooth comunication with Hercules MCU? Are there any kit to support this?

Thanks,

Geraldo.

  • Hello Geraldo,

There are many different BT, Wifi, and other wireless communication kits available to TI. Each of these are available in either a booster pack that will work with the Hercules Launchpads or, in the case of many, as evaluation kits with adapter boards to plug into the booster pack connectors. There is an example of an integration of LAUNCHXL2-RM46 with the CC3100 booster pack to support a WiFi access point or slave implementation is located on the LAUNCHZLS-RM46 Wiki page located here. For Bluetooth implementations there are EKs for the CC2540, cc2541, and CC2640, CC2650 families of LPRF devices. There are also more advanced Wifi solutions such as the CC3120 and CC3200. Have a look in the Wireless products to see what makes since and most should have either booster packs or EKs that can be used with the BOOST-CCEMADAPTER ( www.ti.com/.../boost-ccemadapter ) to fit the booster pack connectors.
