CCS/EK-TM4C123GXL: Problem with usb bulk device connecting to usb bulk example in debug mode

Part Number: EK-TM4C123GXL

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

After installing the tiva usb bulk driver by allowing unsigned driver installation, I was able to connect the usb bulk example windows application with the tm4c123g evaluation board.

However when proceeding to the next part of the lab 7, of the launchpad workshop, which asked me to connect to the evaluation board through the debug port and running the code via cc, I was unable to establish connection between the board and the example application. The window system only detected the virual com port and the two icdi devices.

Is there any additional step which I have missed?

Thanks

Yubin

  • I have realized I should have connect the usb from the device usb port to the computer, in addition of connect to the board's debug port for debugging.

    This solved the issue
  • Thank you - quite good that you "solved your issue" AND were kind enough to share w/those here. (very much the "spirit" of the forum!)

    Best of luck to you...
